Frequently Asked Questions

Have Questions? We’ve Got Answers

Are your lawn treatments pet-friendly?

Our treatments are safe when used as directed. Please keep your pets away from treated areas until everything is completely dry. If you have any concerns about your pets, feel free to call us before your treatment.

Why do you use liquid fertilizer instead of granular fertilizer?

We use liquid fertilizer because it covers the lawn evenly and releases nutrients slowly and steadily. It also works quickly to help areas that are struggling or low on nutrients. We do more than just treat your lawn. Our goal is to help you grow a healthier, better-looking lawn that stays beautiful over time.

What Areas Do You Serve?

We help homeowners across the Susquehanna River Valley and nearby areas. Not sure if we cover your location? Just call us, and we’ll let you know.

Do I Need to Water My Lawn After Treatment?

It depends on the treatment being applied. We’ll provide any necessary watering or aftercare instructions so you know exactly what your lawn needs following your service.

What is Hydroseeding?

Hydroseeding is a way to grow grass by spraying a mix of grass seed, water, and other helpful materials onto the ground. This method works well for big spaces, new lawns, bare spots, or places where regular seeding is difficult.

Does hydroseeding guarantee that grass will grow?

We’re confident enough to guarantee good germination for certain hydroseeding projects. If your hydroseeding does not grow as expected, we will replant. Please reach out to learn more about our guarantee and see whether your project qualifies.

What is overseeding?

Overseeding means adding new grass seed to your current lawn to fill in thin or patchy spots. This method works well if your lawn needs to be thicker but does not need to be completely replaced.

How long does hydroseed take to grow?

Germination time varies based on the grass used, weather, soil condition, temperature, and how consistently the area is watered. You may see early growth relatively quickly, but establishing a full lawn takes time and continued care. We’ll provide instructions to help give your new grass the best opportunity to establish successfully.

Can you help if I don’t know what’s wrong with my lawn?

Absolutely. You don’t need to know whether the problem is nutrients, weeds, thin turf, or something else before contacting us. Tell us what you’re noticing, and we can help determine which service makes the most sense.
